Vote November 2, 2021 - Improving Your Investment with NO Increase in Tax Rate
Rochester Hills Parks & Natural Resources

Dear Fellow Residents:

In November 2000, our City's voters authorized a 20-year bond proposition to fund land acquisition and construction of the Older Persons' Commission (OPC) building. The OPC Bond debt has been fully paid and retired in FY 2021.

A ballot proposal to re-purpose this expired millage to improve and enhance the City's park system facilities is now before you. If approved, this proposal will not raise the current tax rate.

The millage re-purpose will dedicate funding only for renovation, replacement or new park projects in the City, including projects at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm and all City parks including Borden, Spencer, Bloomer, Avondale, the Paint Creek Trail, and the Clinton River Trail.

This proposal, if approved by voters, will help protect this important asset without raising the current tax rate.

Sincerely,

Bryan K. Barnett
Mayor, City of Rochester Hills
