Transportation Master Plan

What is a Transportation Master Plan?
A Transportation Master Plan is a review of the entire transportation system, including vehicles, pedestrians, safety, and congestion. The plan will provide recommendations for accommodating future growth and trends.
Purpose of the Plan
The plan will identify strategies to improve:
• Traffic
• Traffic signal technologies
• Street and intersection redesign options
• Non-motorized improvements- Key corridors in the City will be highlighted in the plan to help improve safety for all users  pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles.
Process and Timeline
Due to COVID-19, progress on the Transportation Master Plan was delayed for a few months. We are now in the third phase of the process, developing plan recommendations and priorities. The expected completion of the Plan is in January 2021.
