2019 Tree Trimming

Starting the week of December 10, 2018, Kappen Tree Service will begin planning tree work. Kappen is only planning at this point. No tree work will take place at this time. Please refer to the map to see the area that Kappen personnel will be creating for a trimming plan and communicating with customers. It is within this area that their tree trimming will take place in early 2019.

City Infrastructure

The City of Rochester Hills infrastructure is contained within a 32 square mile footprint consisting of over:
  • 282 miles of major and local roadways
  • 327 miles of sanitary sewer
  • 438 miles of water main
  • 95 miles of pathway
  • Stormwater management

The city also operates a Fleet Services Division that maintains 170 vehicles and 200 pieces of power and field equipment.
The Department of Public Services team is responsible for delivery, maintenance, operations and capital improvements of the above mentioned assets. Our success and accomplishment in the delivery of our services comes from a team of highly experienced and multi-disciplined personnel.

The DPS Team recognizes that providing these essential services in an effective and efficient manner maintains as well as improves the high quality of life in the City of Rochester Hills.
