How can I get a copy of a birth or death certificate?
Only the persons named on a birth certificate can receive a copy of the certificate. You may apply in person at the Clerk’s Office or you may apply by mail.
A birth certificate application can be printed, completed, signed and mailed with the appropriate fees and identification as required.
Anyone can apply for a death certificate by completing the application and providing the appropriate fees.
If you apply in person, the certificate is prepared at that time. If you apply by mail, it will take approximately one week from the time of receipt.
