Clinton River Trail
The Clinton River Trail is a recreational multi-use trail on 16 miles of abandoned rail line through the heart of Oakland County, including the cities of Sylvan Lake, Pontiac, Auburn Hills, Rochester Hills and Rochester.
Paint Creek Trail
Owned and managed by the Paint Creek Trailways Commission (PCTC), the Paint Creek Trail is an 8.9 mile linear park, located in northeast Oakland County.

Avon Nature Study Area
Located on the south side of Avon Road, between Livernois and Old Perch, this park is 102.5 acres of beautiful land with trails, wildlife, and a pond, gazebo, picnic area, scenic overlook, and Clinton River frontage.
Avondale Park
Located at 3400 Bathurst (south of Auburn between Crooks and Adams), this park is 18.5 acres with sports fields for rend, play areas, picnic areas, a shelter and nature areas.
