The Clinton River Trail is a recreational multi-use trail on 16 miles of abandoned rail line through the heart of Oakland County, including the cities of Sylvan Lake, Pontiac, Auburn Hills, Rochester Hills and Rochester. It connects with the existing West Bloomfield Trail to the west and the Macomb Orchard Trail to the east. Source: Friends of the Clinton River Trail
The Clinton River Trail spans 4.5 miles through Rochester Hills with benches, drinking fountains, and restrooms along the way. Activities like biking, hiking, wildlife viewing, fishing (DNR regulations apply), and kayaking and canoeing make this trail an unbeatable resource for the greater Rochester Hills community. On this trail, pets must be on a 6-foot leash and under immediate control, you may not carry or consume alcoholic beverages or ride motorized vehicles.
