Spencer Park Bass Tournament

The 2021 Spencer Park Bass Tournament is going through some changes to make it more fun and enjoyable for all! The event will now be in the fall and is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, September 26. Look for more details to come soon!

Largest Caught: Geza Toth - 4 lbs. 7 oz., 19" - 2002
Most Caught: Tahir Ali - 10 fish, 3.6 lbs. total - 2011
 Event Details

  • Any Large Mouth Bass caught that is over 7 inches in length counts towards Tournament scoring.
  • During the tournament, only shore fishing is allowed. Anglers are not allowed to go deeper than ankle deep in the water.
  • Prizes are awarded for multiple categories.
  • Participants ages 12 and under may participate in the Casting Contest at any time during the tournament. The casting contest takes place next to the Boat House.
  • Equipment is not provided. Bring your own fishing poles and lures.
  • Park staff will make a continuous circuit around the lake taking measurements of catches. Wave to the staff to indicate you have a catch awaiting measurement.
  • Keep catches in fresh, cool water to ensure a live release.
  • Tournament participants are welcome to stay at the park after the tournament and enjoy the park amenities.

  • Prizes may include trophies, gift cards, fishing equipment, tackle boxes, and the occasional trolling motor or fish finder.
