Manual Calculations
1. First, grab your recent water bill and locate the Meter Read Information section. Your account may be for A. Water Only, B. Water & Sewer with Two Meters, or C. Water & Sewer with One Meter. See the examples of bills below to determine your type of account.

A. Water Only Bill Example
Meter Read Section Only Water

B. Water & Sewer Bill Example - Two Meters
Meter Read Section WS Two Meters

C. Water and Sewer Bill Example - One Meter
Meter Read Section One Meter

2. Then, check the meter on your home and note the first four digit read numbers left to right. There are examples of some meters below. Yours may not look the same, but the way to read them is always left to right.

3. Now that you have the information you need, let's identify the information. On your recent bill, you will be using the numbers from the Current Read column as your Prior Read date. The numbers from your actual meter will be the Current Read data in this calculation.

4. Use the calculations below to find your bill total.

A. If you are a Water Only Customer, then your Customer Charge is $2.78 and your HM rate is $5.81. Your calculation will look like this:

Previous Read (Current Read from your bill) - Current Read (from meter) = Total Units
Total Units x $5.81 = Sub Total
Sub Total + $2.78 (Customer Charge) = Your Bill Total

B. If you are a Water and Sewer Customer with Two Meters, then your Customer Charge is $5.56, your HM Rate is $12.01, and you will use the AM credit rate of $6.20. Your calculation will look like this:
Previous HM Read (Current Read from your bill) - Current HM Read (from meter) = Total HM Units
Total HM Units x $12.01 = HM Sub Total
Previous AM Read (Current Read from your bill) - Current AM Read (from meter) = Total AM Units
Total AM Units x $6.20 = AM Sub Total
HM Sub Total - AM Sub Total + $5.56 (Customer Charge) = Your Bill Total

C. If you are a Water and Sewer Customer with One Meters, then your Customer Charge is $5.56, your HM Rate is $12.01. Your calculation will look like this:
Previous HM Read (Current Read from your bill) - Current HM Read (from meter) = Total HM Units
Total HM Units x $12.01 = HM Sub Total
HM Sub Total + $5.56 (Customer Charge) = Your Bill Total
