COVID-19 Operations Update at Spencer Park

  • Swimming is closed. The park is open, however, swimming, concessions & watercraft rental will NOT open Memorial Weekend and will remain closed through Friday, June 12th.  This date may change. Modern restrooms are open, effective May 23.
  • The permit booth is open. Discounted rates will apply during this time of limited services. Vehicle entry is $5 per car. Rochester Hills Residents receive a $2 discount.
  • Capacity may be limited. In order to safely provide recreation opportunities, we may need to limit access to the park and services as they become available.
  • We are closely monitoring the situation and following guidance from the State and County. We will update our plans as necessary to remain in compliance and keep people safe.

We encourage folks to come out and spread out for walking, hiking, biking or any allowed activity where social distance can be maintained. Please remain at least 6 feet away from anyone not from your household.

  • No flotation devices permitted in the swim area                
  • No swimming allowed without lifeguard on stand   
  • No metal detecting on sports fields
