Rochester Hills Parks & Natural Resources Host Hoot N’ Howl Hayride
The Rochester Hills Parks & Natural Resources Department, through their Outdoor Engagement programs, will soon be hosting their annual Hoot N’ Howl Hayride. Join us on a crisp fall night at Bloomer Park for this exciting event on Friday, October 18th or Saturday, October 19th from 7:30 - 9:00 pm. Visitors will enjoy a hayride through the woods with our Naturalists to look for nocturnal wildlife like deer, raccoons and owls. Then participants will take a stop at the Stone Shelter for a crackling campfire, cider and doughnuts, and meet a few live animals. Registration is required and space is limited, so sign up soon.
This event is great for adults, families and children of all ages (and is in no way intended to be scary). The cost is $7/person. With last year’s event selling out so fast, this year, we have decided to continue to offer the programs for two days.
Also don’t forget to check out the rest of our fall lineup of programs. To register for any of these or our other upcoming opportunities visit our website rochesterhills.org/outdoors or call the Parks & Natural Resources Department 248-656-4673.
