Park Programs and Camp this July

The City, through our Natural Resources Division, will be offering multiple opportunities for individuals, families, and groups to enjoy their July and get outdoors. Join our naturalists to learn the basics of Kayaking in our Kayaking 101 program at Spencer Park. Another program this coming month is our River Float. This program offers a great way to experience Rochester Hills and see the Clinton River from a whole new perspective. If you’re looking to stay dry check out our fishing for beginners program or other hiking programs! For older adults, this July we will be offering a Wellness and Nature Walk with Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital. Our naturalists have teamed up with professionals from Ascension to provide a hike that not only connects us with nature but also will help guide us through healthy life choices. To register for any of these or our other upcoming opportunities visit our website or call the Parks & Natural Resources Department 248-656-4673.
