Local Development Finance Authority
Local Development Finance Authority (LDFA) establishes the legal basis and procedure for the capture and expenditure of tax increment revenues in accordance with Michigan Public Act 281 of 1986, as amended the LDFA facilitates projects that foster new economic growth and development that lead to the creation of new employment opportunities within the city.

One member appointed by Oakland Community College
Seven members appointed by the Mayor and
confirmed by the Council (Four-Year Terms)
Meets on a quarterly basis the FIRST THURSDAY of the month, 7:30am, at the City Municipal Offices, except the LDFA will meet on the second Thursday in January and July.
