The Department of Planning & Economic Development is located on the second level of City Hall.

The goal of the Planning & Economic Development Department is to provide assistance through the entire phase of development - from the initial concept meeting, through final approval.

A Message from the Director
The Planning & Economic Development Department consistently strives to adhere to the policies of the Master Land Use Plan and other adopted policies as established by State and local laws.
It is the goal of the Planning & Economic Development Department to provide to the public all necessary information concerning ordinances and procedures governing land use and development in the City. Preparing the Planning & Economic Development Department to handle inquiries will be a priority. Interaction with developers, residents and builders will commence with informative sessions by staff members relative to development policies and requirements.
