Paid-On-Call FireFighters
 The Paid-on-Call Division of the Rochester Hills Fire Department is comprised of approximately 70 members. Members have a choice of responding as EMS or EMS/fire. The Paid-on-Call Division responds to all emergencies from minor medical emergencies to major structure fires. Residents wishing to become a Paid-on-Call member are highly encouraged to seek emergency medical technician training.
The department does hire residents without training on an annual basis as long as they meet the minimum requirements. To apply you must complete an application for employment with the City of Rochester Hills. To see a description of this position, please click here.
