Development Statistics

The Rochester Hills Building Department conducts an annual review of existing buildings in Rochester Hills.  Commercial and industrial/high-tech buildings are reported by total square feet.  Housing, condominium and apartments are reported by number of units.  Through 2005, the following development statistics were reported:

Commercial:                             6,398,688 square feet

Industrial/High-tech:                  7,521,359 square feet

Housing Units (Single-family):   18,489

Condominium Units:                  3,697

Apartment Units:                        7,507
