Rochester Area Neighborhood House (RANH) recognizes the basic needs of residents in crisis and responds with emotional and financial assistance.  Founded in faith, RANH believes that people helping people is the model of a strong community.

The RANH helps neighbors in need by providing:

Food - The Food Pantry provides emergency food for families who are struggling to feed themselves or their children.

Clothes - Low-income residents are provided with new and gently used clothing and small household necessities.

Transportation - Senior citizens, handicapped, disabled or low-to-moderate income clients are transported to necessary medical appointments or to social service agencies to apply for assistance.

Counseling - Confidential counseling is offered to low income individuals for a variety of emotional needs; as well as Financial Counseling and Job Coaching.

Financial Assistance - the Neighborhood House works hard to help clients cope through a financial crisis and at the same time learn how to manage their lives and finances more effectively - educating rather than enabling.

-  For more information on the Rochester Area Neighborhood House, visit their website at www.ranh.org
