Southeastern Oakland County Resource Recovery Authority

Southeastern Oakland County Resource Recovery Authority (SOCRRA) provides for collection of solid waste, yard waste, and recyclables and for the proper disposal, processing and/or sale of the same and for the purchase, maintenance and care of the collection and disposal facilities.

Establishment of the joint SOCRRA/City Standing Committee was pursuant to Consent Judgement dated June 10, 1994; the purpose of this Committee is for discussing, reviewing and resolving any issues, claims, disputes and other matters relating to the Consent Judgment. Any complaints by residents are referred to and addressed by the Committee.

Three SOCRRA Board members:
The Mayor and two (2) City Council Members;
and one (1) resident/owner (non-voting member) from the
School Road/Parke Street Area appointed by City Council.

Meets the FIRST TUESDAY, bi-monthly,
alternating between Municipal Offices and the SOCRRA Office.
