Natural Features Evaluation Criteria

The City of Rochester Hills Green Space Advisory Board (GSAB) was established by the City Council on October 19, 2005 for the purpose of developing strategies and recommendations to City Council regarding the expenditure of millage funds to permanently preserve natural green spaces, wildlife habitats and scenic views; protect woodlands, wetlands, rivers and streams; and expand the Clinton River Greenway and other trail corridors.  The GSAB serves solely in an advisory capacity and may not assume the legislative or administrative authority of the City Council, the Mayor or any City Department.

Nine Citizen Representatives:
Five Members appointed by City Council - Three-Year Terms
Four Members Appointed by City Council - Two-Year Terms*
* Two-Year Terms for initial appointment, then become Three-Year Terms
Four Ex Officio Members:
City Assessor (or his/her designee)
Director of Parks/Forestry (or his/her designee)
City Surveyor (or his/her designee)
City Council Member appointed by  City Council - One-Year Term

The Board meets the FOURTH Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. January - October,
THIRD Tuesday in November and SECOND Tuesday in December,

in City Hall Conference Room 130, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive.
