Overview
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) is contracted to provide law enforcement services for the City of Rochester Hills. Two city support-staff work with the OCSO to perform administrative and clerical duties at the Rochester Hills Substation.

Cities Served by the OCSO
The City of Rochester Hills is one of 16 communities that contract with the OCSO for law enforcement services. The law enforcement service contract allows the city to structure for the positions contracted in accordance with the needs identified by the city administration, City Council, substation commander and residents.

Current Assignments
Currently, the Rochester Hills substation has an officer assigned to assist walk-in complaints Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Residents requesting police services after hours can have an officer meet them at the Rochester Hills Substation by using the telephone located at the front door of the substation building.

False Alarm Ordinance Compliance
The Oakland County Sheriff's Office administers the false alarm compliance program as outlined in the City's False Alarms Ordinance. Please review the False Alarms Questions and Answers and fill out the False Alarm Registration Form and email it to  to register your alarm system with the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
