Overview
The Paid-on-Call Division (POC) of the Rochester Hills Fire Department is comprised of approximately 65 members. POC personnel have a choice of responding with the EMS Division or Fire / EMS Division. The Paid-on-Call Division responds to all emergencies from minor medical emergencies to major structure fires.

Apply for a Position
Residents who would like to become a Paid-on-Call member are highly encouraged to seek emergency medical technician training. The department does hire residents without training on an annual basis as long as they meet the minimum requirements. To apply you must complete an application for employment with the City of Rochester Hills.
