Get Married at the Museum
The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm is available for indoor and outdoor weddings. Receptions are held inside our newly restored 1927 Calf Barn. Located in historic Stony Creek Village, the 1840 Van Hoosen Farmhouse was home to five generations of the Taylor and Van Hoosen families and has been carefully preserved and furnished with antiques belonging to the families. Our historic buildings and immaculately maintained grounds are undeniably unique and will amaze your guests. If you are searching for a venue full of history and character for your wedding locations, you found it!

Indoor Ceremonies
Indoor ceremonies are held in the 1927 Calf Barn that has a capacity of 130 guests. This adaptively reused building is equipped with heat, a/c, a built in sound system, projector screen, as well as a backup generator, and is fully handicap accessible. The Calf Barn is conveniently located across the street from the Van Hoosen Farmhouse.

Outdoor Ceremonies
Outdoor wedding ceremonies may be held near our 18-foot garden gazebo located in a maple and walnut grove, or along tranquil banks of Stony Creek. We offer flexibility in choosing your ideal location on our grounds. Carefully maintained perennial gardens are located throughout the property and make a wonderful backdrop for wedding photographs.

A private waiting area located on the main floor in the 1840 Van Hoosen Farmhouse is available to the bride and bridesmaids prior to indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies.
