Archives and Collections Assistants
assist the Museum's Archivist with a variety of archival related tasks such as cataloging, digitizing, processing, and research.
lead tours of our 1840 Van Hoosen Farmhouse and 1850 Red Tenant House on Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 3:00 pm. These individuals play an important role in sharing the incredible story of the Van Hoosen family with our visitors.
Front Desk Assistants
greet visitors during our open hours on Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 3:00 pm. They are responsible for introducing visitors to the Museum, taking admissions, and handling Museum Store purchases.
Wedding/Private Event Assistants
assist our Event Coordinator with wedding ceremonies, receptions, and other private parties that take place on our grounds. They help make our private rentals run smoothly by assisting with wedding rehearsals, parking, deliveries and set-up.
Special Events Assistants
help with the Museum's special events such as Wet and Wild Wednesdays, Pumpkin Festival, and Old Fashioned Christmas. They assist with many different aspects of these events including admissions, parking, and activity coordinating.
