Name that Park Contest Now Open!
Name that Park Contest Riverbend Park Riverbend Park Riverbend Park Riverbend Park

What's in a name?

We think quite a bit, and now we're looking for YOUR help to find just the right one!

Rochester Hills prides itself on innovation, and we are now in the process of introducing that innovation to nature. We have begun the initial stages of building a park that will revolutionize the way recreation is done in our city. The corner of Adams and West Hamlin Road (currently known as Riverbend) is where all the fun is set to happen.

In celebration of this exciting transformation, we would like to give our park a new name. One that is as unique as our community. Whether it's creative or witty, new or old, we want to hear them all!

Your idea could last a lifetime.

What is Riverbend Park?

Located at the corner of Adams and West Hamlin Road, this park contains over 100 acres of undeveloped woodlands, wetlands, and prairie habitat. As the largest outdoor classroom in the city, the park opens up a wide variety of hands-on educational opportunities that promote experiential learning and a long-term appreciation for nature.

Who can participate in the contest?

This contest is open to all park enthusiasts. The winning submission will receive a new bike courtesy of KLM Bike & Fitness!

Entries must include a short explanation for the name. The contest is now open to the public, and will continue throughout October.
