Members Appointment
Two Rochester Hills citizen representatives are appointed by City Council to serve three-year terms, and one City Council representative is appointed annually to serve a one-year term.
Purpose
The Mission of the Rochester-Avon Recreation Authority (RARA) is to provide an extensive and varied recreational program, enhancing personal enrichment, and providing for the community's leisure needs. The activities and services include, but are not limited to, recreational and enrichment activities for all ages, youth and adult sports programs (non-competitive and competitive), and activities for special populations.
