Member Appointment
Members are appointed by the City Council, in accordance with the Election Law and the State of Michigan, to four-year terms.

Purpose
Established by State Election Law, the Canvassing Board certifies results following every City Primary and General election. The Board is comprised of two Republicans and two Democrats.
