Parking Violations
Click here to view the payment options available for paying fines for City of Rochester Hills parking violations. If you want to appeal a parking violation notice, mail the notice with a copy of your driver's license and a daytime phone number where you can be contacted to: City of Rochester Hills Treasury Department, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309. The issuing officer will reissue the civil infraction as a district court citation. The 52nd 3rd District Court will then notify you by mail of the court date and time. If the citation is upheld, the fine for a $40.00 violation will increase to $50.00 and a $100.00 violation will increase to $150.00. Note: After the due date on the civil infraction, all unpaid or unsettled parking violations will be re-issued as a district court citation with additional fees and/or penalties.
If you wish to appeal your violation for parking in a disabled person parking space because you have a valid placard, please send your parking violation notice to the address above with the following: a copy of your driver's license, a copy of your placard and a note explaining your request that includes your daytime phone number. After a review of your request, you will be notified of our decision. Please note: When parked in a disabled person parking space, placard must be displayed on the vehicle's interior rearview mirror, or if there is no interior rearview mirror, on the lower left corner of the dashboard. Failure to do so can result in a violation notice for improperly displaying your placard. For convenience, we recommend purchasing a disabled person license plate for your vehicle from the secretary of state.
