Duties and Responsibilities
The Treasury Department duties and responsibilities include:
• Billing, Collection and Distribution of Property Taxes
• Investment of Surplus Funds
• Receipting and Depositing City Collections
• Administration of Direct Payment for Water/Sewer
• Billing and Collection of Special Assessments for Weed Control, Sidewalk Replacement,
Street Paving and False Alarms
• Dog Licensing
• Collection of Parking and Ordinance Violations
We sell gift certificates for the annual entrance fees to our city parks. We also sell annual park passes for senior citizens (age 60 and older) and handicapped persons for a fee of $10.00 for a resident and $20.00 for a non-resident.
