 Welcome
to the new and improved solid waste program in Rochester Hills. As of March 30, 2009, Republic Services (formerly Allied Waste) is now providing all solid waste, recycling, and yard waste services for single-family homes in our city.
Getting Started
Billing is quarterly and billed in advance. Once you receive your first invoice, you can make payments and apply for discounts. Mail your payment to the PO Box printed on your invoice or pay on-line.
Invoices are due by the date specified. Please allow 7-10 days for payment processing. A 1.5% late fee will be applied to your account for any balance over 40 days past due.

The 2010 rate for service is $45.90 per quarter. The following discounts are available and can be combined:

 A 95-gallon cart for trash and a 65-gallon cart for recycling is provided at no cost to all single-family homes, and trash is picked up Monday through Thursday (see map above for your area's collection day).
Curbside Recycling Program
The most exciting component of the recycle program is RecycleBank. Residents who participate earn points each week and are eligible to receive exclusive coupons that can be redeemed at national and local businesses. Visit www.recyclebank.com for more information. The list of recyclable materials is guaranteed to be the most comprehen sive in the state and the materials to be recycled do not need to be separated. Recyclable items must be placed in the 65-gallon curb cart provided. Collection will be weekly on your scheduled collection day (see map above). This program makes Rochester Hills the most recycling friendly city in the entire state!
