Rental Information 

  • Description: Mothers, Daughters and Leaders of Oakland County is a traveling exhibit that will tour museums, schools, libraries, shelters, and other organizations throughout Oakland County.
  • The exhibit consists of three areas:
    The biographies and photographs of 17 outstanding Oakland County women leadersMothers & Daughters Exhibit front

    "Leaders from Our Community" which allows your visitors to add their own nominations to the exhibit.

    "Women Through the Ages" is a timeline of women's historical events from a national and state level.
  • The package also includes a template of a publication which can be distributed to your visitors, as well as educational materials for use with schools or for family programming.
  • Additionally, a number of contemporary women have been selected to serve as Ambassadors. Their role can include public appearances at your location, doing interviews with the press to assist in your publicity, and being a role model for the women in your community. A list of the women will be distributed to your organization prior to its shipment.

    2 double-sided walls
    8' tall x 10' long

  • Cost:
    Shipping to your site
           $100 fee and Return shipping to Rochester Hills Museum
    OR your organization may pick up and return the exhibit to the Rochester Hills Museum for a flat fee of:
          $25
  • Terms:
    One person installation

    Approximately 2 hour installation

    Must remain in Oakland County, Michigan

    Exhibit can be displayed indoors or in an enclosed tent out of the weather

    Mothers & Daughters TimelineCompletion of the Hold Harmless and Loan Agreements provided by the Rochester Hills Museum

    Must provide proof of a minimum of $6,000 of insurance

    Granting agencies and partners must be credited in all publications, brochures, websites, and publicity.
  • Target Audience:  Ages 7 to adult
