* The Wednesday, March 30th test is in recognition of Severe Weather Awareness Week.
Note: Sirens are not tested during Dec, Jan and Feb. | Tornado Warning System
 The City of Rochester Hills is well covered by tornado warning sirens. When the sirens are being tested, you will hear them at the designated date and time and they will sound for three minutes.
It is important to note that the sirens are "outdoor warning sirens" designed to warn residents who are outside, not indoors. In an effort to provide adequate safety measures for our residents, our Department is committed to monitoring questionable areas in our city to determine the future needs of additional sirens to better protect our community.
