The Rochester Hills Fire Department Administration is comprised of the Fire Chief, Deputy Chief, and Administrative Coordinator.
Fire Chief 
Fire Chief Ronald Crowell started with the department in 1980 as a Paid on Call firefighter and has worked up through the ranks until becoming the Fire Chief in May of 2005. He is State of Michigan certified as a Fire Officer and basic EMT. He is also a state certified instructor for all Fire Officer classes, Fire Fighter I and II classes, Incident Command System, and drivers training. He currently has his Associates Degree in Fire Fighter Technology.

Deputy Fire Chief
Deputy Chief James Bradford started with the department in 1983 as a Paid on Call firefighter and has worked up through the ranks until becoming Deputy Chief in October of 2005. He is Fire Officer III certified, has an Associate Degree in Fire Fighter Technology, is a Hazmat Technician and Paramedic. As Deputy Chief, Jim is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department.

Administrative Coordinator
Debbie Happy started with the department in 1988 as the Fire Prevention Secretary and currently holds the position of Administrative Coordinator. She has an Associate Degree in General Business and day-to-day responsibilities include all secretarial needs of the Chief, Deputy Chief and Training Coordinator.
