Duties and Responsibilities
The primary objective of the Building Department is to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of the citizens and businesses of Rochester Hills. In this effort the department provides:

Plan review: construction (residential and commercial), grade and ordinance (residential)

Permits and Inspections: building, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, fire suppression, safety, liquor license and grade
