The Rochester Hills technology cluster includes companies engaged in many industries, including advanced automotive, future fuels, bioscience, optics, robotics and advanced materials.  The infrastructure to support Rochester Hills' many research & development centers includes 24-strand fiber optic capacity up to OC 192 speed.  The culture of entreprenuerialism and scientific research is supported by many training centers; Oakland University; Automation Alley; the Collaboratory at OU INCubator; and an extensive network of industry professionals, venture and angel capitalists, and other supporting organizations.
