Lawrence Technological University
Lawrence Technological University (LTU), a private university with a legacy of educating and re-training innovative leaders, has a culture of technology collaboration with industry and is Michigan's first wireless (Wi-Fi) laptop campus.
LTU has participated in numerous joint ventures, including the recently completed first carbon fiber bridge constructed in the United States, which resulted from research conducted at the University. LTU also is a partner with DTE Energy in its new hydrogen technology park, a demonstration center that shows how hydrogen could be created, stored and distributed for consumer use in the future.
LTU also is one of three Michigan University's that has received a grant to develop future fuel curriculum.
The University is committed to providing industry and entrepreneurs with access to laboratory facilities and expertise as well as continuing education and workforce training.
