 Government Resources for Small Businesses

State, County and local governments are increasingly more attuned to the needs of the small business community because of their significance and contributions to economic development for the communities in which they reside.

As such, the City of Rochester Hills works very closely with MEDC and Oakland County to ensure that small businesses in Rochester Hills receive the support they need to grow and sustain. Click on the links below to learn more about the business development programs at both the State and County levels.

Education Institutions

Higher education entities are also significant players in the area of small business development. Whether it is providing incubator space, educating future employers and entrepreneurs, or providing workforce development services to local companies, education institutions are invaluable to supporting the success of the local business community.

The link below provides and outline of the type of services offered by both Oakland Community College and Oakland University.
